I’ve always had a passion for animals and my first job was as a kennel hand and after-hours emergency assistant. I was a second-year vet student at the time, and it was an incredible way to learn about the profession.

When I left university, I became a graduate veterinarian at RSPCA Yagoona, a role that has a special place in my heart. With a supportive team and positive, progressive workplace culture, it set precedent for how I ran my own clinics, providing a benchmark for what to shoot for.

Throughout my career, which includes co-owning a group of eight veterinary clinics, I found I was motivated more by the success of others than my own. This is what drew me to the VetPartners Support Office.

I initially joined as Clinical and Operational Lead for Transformation Projects in 2022, quickly progressing to Head of Product and Service Innovation. Now, I’m the General Manager of Veterinary Operations where I oversee the operations of 260+ GP sites, provide leadership and management around standards of care and service mix operationalisation. I also work to improve day-to-day flow of clinics through scalable, sustainable solutions. My role also includes leading a group of Veterinary Managers, and providing oversight to management of programs run through our training centres.

It’s work that I truly find so rewarding, and I recognise that each stage in my career path has been so valuable, allowing me to learn new skills as well as build character.
