We have an opportunity for a confident and passionate nurse to join our team. We are particularly interested in candidates who are experienced in surgery, and enthusiastic about mentoring.

About the clinic

We are a small and close-knit team that values strong work ethic, adaptability and a good sense of humour. With our dedication to patient care, we work very hard to achieve great outcomes for our patients while enjoying a happy and supportive team environment.

We have lovely, loyal clients and welcome nurses who enjoy building meaningful relationships with clients and their beloved pets.

We also have a full-time dedicated Receptionist to handle front-desk and administration duties so you can focus on patient care and clinical duties!

About The Role

  • Full Time – (part time hours will be considered for the right candidate)

  • Flexible shifts – our manager prioritises work/life balance when creating the roster

  • Rotating roster across our opening hours, with 1/3 Saturday shifts (but we close at 1pm on Saturdays!)

  • Opening hours: Monday-Friday 8am-7pm and Saturday 9am-1pm. Closed Sundays and Public Holidays. Getting out on time is a priority for us!

About You

  • Cert IV Veterinary Nursing, with 1-2 years surgical experience

  • A genuine, warm and collaborative style that values a happy workplace

  • Reliable with a strong team and work ethic

  • Interest in providing mentorship and assisting with training junior staff

  • Ability to work efficiently, and both independently and as part of the team when the situation requires
