A successful applicant will have:
- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent
- Ideally 1-2 years minimum experience working as a veterinary nurse
- Confidence in all areas of nursing
- The ability to work flexibly within a 3 weekly rotating roster including some reception shifts and 1 in 3 Saturday.
- A positive can-do attitude with attention to detail and high standard of patient care
- Excellent communication and client interaction skills
- Ability to work well in a team as well as independently
- Committed to continuing education
Our practice uses RX Works, so some understanding of the software is preferable but not essential.
We recognise life is short so having fun and a positive outlook on life is mandatory! Mind you, this is not hard to do when working with a team of like-minded people, chocolate, cheese and cake.
