North Shore Veterinary Specialist Centre, Artarmon, Sydney – Full Time Receptionist/Client Services – Admin Role
North Shore Veterinary Hospital and Veterinary Specialist & Emergency Centre is a general practice and Specialist Referral Veterinary Hospital which has a 24-hour emergency service 365 days per year. It is one of the busiest Veterinary Hospitals in Sydney, located in Artarmon and walking distance from St Leonards or Artarmon Stations.
Due to Staff Movement, we are searching for a talented Permanent Full Time Receptionist/Client Services.
This new member of staff will know how important a functioning cohesive front of house team play in a successful Veterinary Practice and would suit someone with a Reception/Client Service/Admin career wanting to work where the action is.

Essential Criteria:
- Passionate and committed to caring for our patients and clients.
- Proven experience in a strong customer service role.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Possess an excellent work ethic, is reliable and has a stable work history.
- High emotional intelligence.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Motivated with high energy level.
- Intermediate to advance level of computer skills in Word and Excel.
- Strong ability to multitask under sometimes stressful conditions.
- Able to work in a team environment and take direction.
- Ability to keep calm under pressure.
Duties Include but are not limited to:
- Greeting and managing clients and patients.
- Answering extremely busy phone lines.
- Scheduling appointments for multiple veterinarians.
- Client and patient data management.
- Dealing with high volume of emails.
- Bank reconciliations.
- Processing pet insurance claims/pathology results.
- Providing administrative support to veterinarians and management.
- Cleaning of Reception areas.
- Helping clients with OTC products.
- Stock deliveries and unpacking.

Experience in receptionist/client services in a veterinary practice or in a medical environment is preferred. However, if you have extensive history in a customer service role in another industry, we would be keen to hear from you too.
Knowledge of RxWorks/ezyVet would be an advantage but we are willing to train the right candidate.
