Our experienced and passionate team at Bayfair Vets, have been providing quality care to animals in the Mount Maunganui and Papamoa region for almost 32 years, we’re looking for a Lead small animal veterinarian to join our friendly & supportive team.

About the role
- You’ll enjoy a great balance of consults and surgery
- We have well-equipped surgical suites with treatment/dental area, digital and dental x-ray, ultrasound imaging, and in-house lab for blood work
- You’ll join a team of 5 other experienced Vets with varied interests including orthopaedics supported by a great nursing team and practice manager.
- This role includes a blend of approx 90% Clinical Work & and 10% Management/Administrative responsibilities.
About you:
- We are looking for an experienced & passionate small animal veterinarian with at least 10 years’ experience, who enjoys building rapport with both clients and their team.
- There is opportunity to take on the leadership role, or step into the team as a Senior Veterinarian.
- A passion for Internal Medicine would be advantageous
- BVSc qualified (or equivalent) and registered or eligible to register to practice in New Zealand
