What’s a Typical Day Look Like?


A day at Kingston is fast-paced and fulfilling, with a focus on collaboration and high-quality care:

  • Rotating surgery days: Two vets tackle surgical procedures while three consulting rooms manage a diverse array of cases.

  • Wide variety of cases: From complex medical cases to orthopedics and general consultations.

  • Daily rounds: Discuss cases, share insights, and foster a collaborative environment.

  • Fortnightly vet meetings: Stay aligned as a team and share cases or ideas in a supportive setting.

  • No after-hours or Sundays: Maintain a healthy work-life balance with no after-hours commitments.

  • Access to advanced tools like digital x-rays, dental x-rays, ultrasound, endoscopes, electro-cautery, in-house pathology, and urinalysis, ensuring you’re equipped for every case.

What We’re Looking For:

  • BVSc or equivalent and Victorian registration.

  • 1+ years of experience in small animal veterinary practice.

  • A commitment to exceptional patient care.

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

  • Business acumen: Understanding fees and practice running costs.

  • And most importantly… a sense of humour!
